Founded in 1990 in Austin, Texas by our highly-regarded president
and CEO Ali Khataw, PE, the firm has grown steadily over the years
increasing staff and adding a second office in San Antonio in 2009.
More recently, Encotech has greatly expanded the firm’s capabilities
and service offerings, particularly by providing MEP and Structural
Engineering support for civil and transportation projects. Yet, we are
small enough and nimble enough to offer our clients responsive service
and personal commitment to every project.
We are a small business, but we provide big business services, with
an entrepreneurial spirit. Our human and technical resources are
second-to-none and many of our employees have achieved the highest
certifications in their respective disciplines.
Encotech has also positioned itself at the forefront of several important
movements in the construction industry, including sustainable design
and Building Information Modeling (BIM). The firm has provided
engineering design and consulting services on buildings targeting
various levels of sustainable design, from basic incorporation of socially
responsible practices to full LEED® certification.
