What is your primary product or service?
Retail sales of Boat Dock Accessories like dock ladders, dock bumpers, cleats, dock boxes, solar lighting and more.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I've been boating since I was a kid. Sailing at camp and water skiing in Lake Austin and Lake Travis and other lakes in different cities I've lived in.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I really strive to offer unique and innovative products from marine manufacturers. Many times these products are created from a need a boater him or herself needed to solve. A product is born! These are the kinds of folks I like to deal with versus the larger corporate brands that everyone else sells.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
One location. We're an internet drop ship company. I deal directly with the actual manufacturers and most products ship directly from them. I do carry some smaller cleats and GEM Key fob transmitters etc. We don't have a brick and mortar location. Everything is done through our website at www.DockGear.com. (www.dockgearsupply.com).

We accept all the major cards... Visa, MC, Discover and AMEX plus we accept PayPal and Company Checks.
Which areas do you service?
We are national. We service all of the US plus an occasional Canadian shipment. All our island shipments go through a freight forwarder set up by the customer.

The company is owned and operated by Jeff Gudenrath.
