City Conservation was first started in 1982 by Charlie Ford. Since that time we have grown & added other portions to this business. Friendly, Knowledgable, Honest & Face-To-Face Customer Service has been the basis for this business.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are Locally Owned & Operated in Central Austin. Owner Charlie Ford still personally meets homeowners who request Energy Audits. Supporting Local Business and Community Growth is an essential part of our daily business.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Although we have 4 company names(City Conservation/Totally Cool/Jay's AC/Eastland Services), we have one location at 909 McPhaul Street in northwest Austin )south of the intersection of Kramer and North Lamar. Our offices are located on the small street that runs alongside Chuy's Restaurant on N. Lamar. We expanded to this location after many years in the Brentwood neighborhood, for which we are still fond.
We may expand our building space in the future.

City Conservation Air Conditioning is located at 909 McPhaul Street Austin TX 78758. Traveling southbound, go North on Lamar Blvd, past the Highway 183 exchange, past, Rundberg & Rutland. Turn left onto McPhaul Street (the small street beside Chuy's Restaurant) and go all the way to the end of McPhaul Street. There are two green metal buildings on the left side of the road. We are located in the first building you'll see. There is a small sign on the building reading "909." You will see the vans and trucks in the yard west of the building. Come inside and visit with us about heating and air conditioning.
