Auctioneer Services: Selling Real Estate at auction, conducting business liquidations - we liquidate all types of assets from airplane manufacturing equipment to floral warehouses and everything in between, large estate auctions, farm equipment auctions, etc.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Scott Swenson is President of Jones Swenson Auction Marketing. He attended his first auction while working towards his college degree at Texas A&M University and was hooked. While completing his course work at Texas A&M, he also attended the Britten Auction Academy and has gone on to be a regular instructor at the Texas Auction Academy. He is also a past president of the Texas Auctioneer's Association and has served on its committees. Scott has also completed the course work required to earn the designation of Certified Auctioneers Institutes (CAI).
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are a professional auction company. We offer all sellers a written proposal detailing all services provided, the expenses that will be incurred and how we will be compensated and the seller will receive the proceeds from their auction. We have vast experience with all types of auction situations and we offer state of the art solutions to ensure the seller receives the most the market will bear for their items on auction day.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have two locations; one in Austin, TX and one in Dallas, TX. From these two locations we service all of Texas and the Southwest.
Provide detailed directions to your location
Business assets are best sold at their installed location. We come to the seller's location, review the assets and provide the seller an educated estimate of what they can expect to receive for their items on auction day.

What are your hours of operation?
We are typically in the office Monday thru Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We frequently travel to look at assets throughout the week and the weekend, if necessary.
